Contracts Manager, Dynalectric San Diego

Lorelee Langworthy, CIT, CDS, CBT, has worked in the electrical industry since 1992. Lorelee works as Contracts Manager for Dynalectric San Diego, where she fills multiple roles including accounts receivable for large projects; quality assurance; Notary Public, and serve on the Safety Committee.

Loralee first entered the construction industry by answering an ad for a receptionist. She quickly worked her way up to the position of office manager for a medium sized commercial electrical company where she was responsible for the day to day operations of the company including payroll, human resources, accounts receivable and payable, safety coordinator and overseeing the administrative staff.

After Lorelee moved on to a position with a family owned company, she sought networking opportunities to keep informed on industry updates, and to broaden her general knowledge of construction. Lorelee found the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) to be the right association to fulfill this need. She joined the San Diego chapter of NAWIC in 2005 and has served in multiple roles including three terms as chapter president. Lorelee also served as the NAWIC Pacific Southwest Region Director for 2014- 2016. She has been a member of the Camp NAWIC Committee from its inception.

Lorelee earned her Construction Industry Technician (2008), Construction Document Specialist (2009) and Construction Bookkeeping Technician (2010) certifications through the NAWIC Educational Foundation.

Lorelee is married and has three grown children and nine grandchildren. In her spare time she likes to garden, go camping and work on arts and crafts including crocheting, working with gourds, basket weaving and landscape painting.
