Opening doors for the next generation.

Receiving a merit-based scholarship can be life-changing for a student, a positive affirmation that builds confidence and provides a foundation for future success.

San Diego’s construction professionals grant at least two scholarships annually to deserving recipients through the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) San Diego College Scholarship Program.

One scholarship is currently dedicated to a male or female student pursuing any college degree who has a parent employed in the San Diego construction industry.

The second scholarship is awarded to a female student pursuing a college degree in a construction-related profession such as architecture, engineering, or construction management.

Each winner and a guest will be invited to attend an Awards Dinner with the NAWIC San Diego Chapter in April. Details will be provided to the scholarship recipients.

The NAWIC scholarship helped me attend a university that I love, and led to many experiences that helped me decide the career path I want to follow, one where I get to be a woman in engineering.

The NAWIC scholarship is a wonderful help. The students have to work so hard for their classes and tuitions are expensive.
