It is time to invest in your future workforce. It is time to invest in Camp NAWIC.

Camp NAWIC 2018

For 12 years Camp NAWIC has been introducing girls 8th grade and up to careers in construction.  This year, Camp NAWIC San Diego is welcoming more than 100 campers, our biggest group yet, and there is a waiting list of interested girls. All of them eager to try their hand at the trades. All of them ready to learn from industry experts like you.

The week-long camp is staffed by men and women employed in the local construction industry who volunteer their time and share their experiences and knowledge with these young campers. These mentors and volunteers inspire and educate our campers to see the numerous opportunities available.

It costs approximately $500 per camper to run Camp NAWIC, but it is totally free for the participants. Campers receive transportation, meals, a hard hat, safety glasses, a set of small hand tools and LOTS of experience with different trades. All of this is only possible through the generous contributions of our community.

Whether you contribute your time, materials and/or funds, we need you to help us deliver a memorable experience for these campers. Your 100% tax-deductible charitable contribution or donation of your time is an investment in the future of the construction industry.

Camp NAWIC San Diego is June 17-21. Please click the links below to learn more.

Being at camp helped me build up my confidence. Camp NAWIC has helped me consider a career in construction.
