Which programs are right for you?

  • FCL CAMP for MIDDLE SCHOOL: Connect with preteens participating in a three-day camp learning carpentry as they build Little Libraries for the community.

  • FCL CAMP for TEEN GIRLS (Formerly CAMP NAWIC): Reach teen girls right when they are deciding what to do after high school at this one-week introduction to trades like carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heavy equipment, and surveying.

  • KIDS CONSTRUCTION EXPO: Engage kids of all ages with the possibilities in construction at this one-day tradeshow-style event.

Volunteer

Looking to give back in a meaningful way? Trying to find a team builder? Want to learn from others in the industry? What could be more rewarding than helping young people build confidence and learn new skills that might lead to a rewarding career?!

We love to have skilled tradespeople share their knowledge and passion for the industry with our students (and the other volunteers), but we also need general volunteers.

Volunteer Opportunities

  • FCL CAMP for MIDDLE SCHOOL: Skilled carpenters and general volunteers are needed for half and full-day shifts during this three-day camp where 6th-8th grade students learn to build Little Libraries.

  • FCL CAMP for TEEN GIRLS (Formerly Camp NAWIC): Skilled tradespeople and general volunteers are needed for half and full-day shifts during this five-day girls-only camp, where the teens learn trades like carpentry, plumbing, electrical, heavy equipment, and surveying.

  • KIDS CONSTRUCTION EXPO: General volunteers are needed so this one-day event runs smoothly.
